De aardfoutzoeksystemen ISOSCAN® EDS441 worden, in combinatie met de ISOMETER® iso685-D-P of de testpulsgenerator PGH ingezet voor het opsporen van isolatiefouten in ongeaarde netstelsels (IT-systemen).
Daartoe registreert het aardfoutzoeksysteem met meetspoelen de door het isolatiebewakingsapparaat iso685-D-P of de testpulsgenerator PGH gegenereerde teststroomsignalen. Op een EDS441 kunnen maximaal 12 meetspoelen worden aangesloten. In totaal kunnen maximaal 50 stuks EDS441 via een RS-485-interface (BS-busprotocol) worden verbonden, zodatmaximaal 600 uitgangen worden bewaakt.
