The multi-functional
voltage monitors VME420 monitor
frequency, undervoltage,
overvoltage and the voltage between two threshold
values (window discriminator function in AC and DC
systems. The voltages are measured as r.m.s. values.
The currently measured value is continuously shown
on the LC display. The measured value leading to the
activation of the alarm relays will be saved.

The multi-functional
voltage monitors VME421H monitor
frequency, undervoltage, overvoltage and the
voltage between two threshold values (window
discriminator function in AC and DC systems). The
voltages are measured as r.m.s. values. The
currently measured value is continuously shown on
the LC display. The devices take the supply voltage
from the system being monitored and utilize an
internal energy backup unit.

According
to DIN V VDE V 0126-1-1, the voltage and frequency
shall be monitored whenfeeding power into the public
low voltage grid from decentralised power generation
systems>30 kW (such as CHPs, wind, hydrodynamic and
photovoltaic power plants).
The three-phase voltage monitors of the VMD422
series continuously monitor the voltageand frequency
at the transfer connection point in 3AC/3NAC systems
and activate analarm relay within 180 ms (response
values according to VDEW guideline “Generator atthe
public low-voltage grid”) if voltage and frequency
exceed upper and lower limits.
Anovervoltage (> U2), measured as average value over
a 10-minute period, will cause thealarm relay to
switch.

The current monitors
CME420… monitor undercurrent and overcurrent
thresholds in AC systems as well as the current
between two threshold values (window discriminator
function). The currents are measured as r.m.s.
values (AC). The currently measured value is
continuously indicated on the LC display. The
measured value leading to the activation of the
alarm relays will be saved

The CMS460 system
consists of one or several CMS460-D load current
evaluators which are able to detect load currents in
earthed and unearthed power supplies via the
associated measuring current transformers. The
maximum voltage of the system to be monitored
depends on the nominal insulation voltage of the
measuring current transformer used in the case of
busbar systems, resp. depends on the cables or
conductors that are routed through.

The loop
monitor of the GM420 series is designed to monitor
the resistance of PE conductor
connections in AC systems and in de-energized
systems.
For the
measurement of the resistance
the extraneous voltage Uf between the terminals E
and KE must not exceed AC 12
V. At voltages above AC 12 V only the voltage is
measured. The ohmic resistance of the
conductor loop and the existing extraneous AC
voltage Uf will be indicated on the display.

The SUR353Z series is
designed for voltage monitoring in three-phase AC
systems.
The devices do not
require a neutral point connection and can
universally be used for
3 AC and 3/N AC systems. Additional supply
voltage is not required.
Nominal
system voltage: 3AC 100, 230, 400, 415, 500 and 690V

The SUR357Z/358Z series
is designed for voltage monitoring in three-phase AC
systems. The relays can be used for undervoltage as
well as overvoltage monitoring (window discriminator
function). They do not require a neutral point
connection and can universally be used for 3 AC and
3/N AC systems.
Additional supply
voltage is not required.
Nominal
system voltage: 3AC 100, 230, 400, 415, 500 and 690V |

The energy storage
SP100 is an add-on device for monitoring and
measuring relays with timing function, operated
without separate supply voltage. Connected to the
relay, the SP100 supplies the necessary energy for
the electronic circuitry after power failure, for
the duration of the maximum time delay.
