The IR420 A-ISOMETER®
monitors the insulation resistance of unearthed
AC control circuits (IT systems) 0…300 V. If the
systems to be monitored include DC components as
for example switch mode power supplies or solenoid
valves, the operating and display characteristics
may be affected. The response values apply to pure
AC systems only. A separate supply voltage allows
de-energized systems to be monitored too |

The “Offline monitor”
IR420-D6 monitors the insulation resistance of
deenergized loads. These loads, e.g. fire pumps,
slidevalves drives, elevator motors or emergency
generators, either temporarily deenergized or
deenergized for the most time, are supplied from TN,
TT or IT systems. During the shutdown periods,
however, humidity or other effects may cause
insulation faults in the wiring or loads which may
go undetected. |

The A-ISOMETER®
IR123P monitors the insulation resistance RF of an
unearthed AC system of 100...300 V against earth,
that is supplied by a mobile generator according to
DIN VDE 0100-551. The IR423 is suitable for AC
systems with operating frequencies of 22...65Hz as
well as for AC systems including DC components. The
maximum permissible system leakage capacitance Ce is
5 μF.

The A-ISOMETER® iso-F1 IR155-3203/-3204 monitors the
insulation resistance between
the insulated and active HV-conductors of an
electrical drive system (Un = DC 0 V…1000 V)
and the reference earth (chassis ground Kl.31).
The patented measurement technology
is used to monitor the condition of the insulation
on the DC side as well as on the AC motorside of the electrical drive system. Existing
insulations faults will be signalised reliably
even under high system interferences which can be
caused by motor control processes,
accelerating, energy recovering etc.

The A-ISOMETER® iso-F1 IR155-3210 monitors the
insulation resistance between the insulated
and active HV-conductors of an electrical
drive/charger system (Un = DC 0 V…800 V) and
the reference earth (chassis ground
Kl.31). The patented measurement technology is
used to monitor the condition of the
insulation on the DC side as well as on the AC motor
side of the electrical drive/charger system.
Existing insulations faults will be signalised
reliably even under high system interferences
which can be caused by motor/charger
control processes, etc.

The IR425 A-ISOMETER®
monitors the insulation resistance of unearthed
AC/DC control circuits (IT systems) 0…300 V. DC
components existing in AC/DC systems do not
influence the measuring results. A separate supply
voltage source makes it possible to monitor
de-energized systems too.

IR470LY series monitor the insulation resistance of
unearthed AC and three-phase systems (IT-systems),
AC/ 3(N) AC 0….793 V. In combination with a coupling
device, the A-ISOMETERs® can also be used for
higher voltages. Due to the measuring principle,
insulation faults behind directly connected
rectifiers are indicated with increased response
sensitivity.

The A-ISOMETER® IR485P and IR486P monitor the
insulation resistance of unearthed ACsystems up to
AC 460 V or DC systems up to DC 1000 V. Insulation
faults in DC circuits which
are directly connected to the AC system are only
monitored correctly when the
rectifiers carry a load current > 5…10 mA. Hence,
these devices are capable of being integrated
into converter systems.

The A-ISOMETER® of the iso-PV series is designed to
monitor the insulation resistance of
unearthed main circuits (IT systems) AC, AC/DC 0…793
V resp. DC 0…1100 V.
Solar systems containing
inverters and isolating transformers are often
designed as IT systems. iso-PV
variants using the AMPPlus measurement method
capable of adapting to slow voltage
fluctuations meet the particular requirements
of modern solar systems.
