The FTC470XDP protocol
is intended to transmit data from the BMS (Bender
measuring device interface) bus to the PROFIBUS DP
and vice versa. In this way, BENDER products with
communication capability, such as EDS, RCMS or
MEDICS® systems, can be integrated into a PROFIBUS
DP system. Programming and adaptations on the
PROFIBUS side are to be carried out by the user.

 |
The FTC-BMS-MTCP protocol converter transfers data
from the BMS communication bus to the ModBus TCP
protocol. Information of BENDER components such as
EDS, RCMS or MEDICS® systems can be extracted and
used in third party systems such as SCADA or other
control, management and visualisation systems, using
MODBUS TCP. The information of the BENDER components
has to be read out of the MODBUS registers in the
FTC-BMS-MTCP gateway, by the user.

The FTC470XET protocol
converter is intended to be used as an
Ethernet-Gateway with Web server. The device
converts data from the BMS bus to TCP/IP protocol
(Ethernet). Using the Web browser of a PC, data from
BMS systems can be represented. Additional software
need not to be installed.

The FTC470XMB
protocol converter is intended for transmitting data
from the BMS bus to the ModBus RTU and vice versa.
In this way, information from. BENDER products with
communication capability, such as EDS, RCMS or
MEDICS® systems can be integrated into a ModBus RTU
system. Programming or adaptations on the ModBus RTU
side are carried out by the user.

The SMI472-12
converter module is intended to convert digital
signals (alarm and status messages) into serial
information for the BMS bus. 12 digital inputs are
provided which can be grouped into alarm and
operating messages. By default, 8 inputs for alarm
messages and 4 inputs for operating messages are
provided.
|
 |
The SMO480-12 signal
converter is intended to convert alarm messages from
the BMS bus to relay contact signals. The relay
contacts are also suitable for very small currents
(> 5 mA).One
SMO480-12 each has to be assigned to one device with
communication capability.

The RS485 repeater is
intended to amplify signals on the RS485 interface
(BMS protocol).This
is required when the length of the bus line exceeds
1200 m and when more than 30 bus
nodes exist.
|
 |
The DI-2 protocol
converter is intended for the connection of PCs and
work stations with RS232 interface to BENDER devices
with RS485 interface. Computer hardware or software
modifications are not required. A typical
application is to connect a PC to a BMS network via
the DI-2 converter.
