EDS460.../ EDS490...
Insulation fault evaluators of the EDS460/490 series in combination with a A-ISOMETER and a insulation fault test device PGH are used for localisation of insulation faults in unearthed power supply systems (IT systems). Using measuring current transformers the evaluators record test current signals generated by the insulation fault test device PGH and evaluate them.

The insulation fault test device PGH471 is used within an insulation fault location

system   EDS460… / EDS490… The PGH471 has thefollowing tasks:

Generation and limitation of the test current (25 mA or 10 mA)

Synchronization of the test pulse with evaluators EDS460… / EDS490…

Control of the disconnection of the insulation Monitor from the distribution system.
